To be certain that you are purchasing the proper Hoover Genuine Part for your Self-Propelled WindTunnel™ Bagless model, we need to know when your vacuum was manufactured.

Please check the first four digits of the serial number on your vacuum. The serial number is on your vacuum's dataplate . (See sample dataplate below) The first four digits of your serial number represent the date your cleaner was manufactured.

Example, if your Serial Number was 110278543711, then your vacuum was manufactured 11/2002.

If your self-propelled bagless model was manufactured...

  • 10/2002 or before, please use Part 43434073.
  • 11/2002 or after, please use Part 43434042.

    Found on the back of your Self-Propelled Bagless Model.
  • The Model Number is at the top left (see Model)

  • Your Serial Number is the 12 digit number at the bottom left.
